A digital interactive shopping experience
Piatto is an interactive shopping experience. Piatto combines the convenience and options of e-shopping with the emotion and allure of traditional 'brick & mortar' stores and shopping. The pitch was to create a digital interactive system within a store with a style guide that gives shoppers looks curated specifically to their preferences. They may then try out the outfits to ensure that they do, in fact, love the fit. Piatto is a sub-brand for retail chain 'The Collective', housing accessible luxury brands, with a focus on the tactility of the shopping experience.
In this ferociously digital world, we thought to create a store, whose USP is its interactivity, playfulness and style. Our store is a global confluence of brands, and it never ceases to be playful, quirky and with the times. Each collection will be named after a sauce/condiment: it's universal, intriguing, and really yummy. And food is in! Need we say more?
The word 'piatto' means container in Italian implying that it is a smorgasbord of options and styles as well as culinary reference that ties in with the names of the collections. A custom logotype was crafted keeping in mind the modern yet playful feel of the brand.
